Yes, you are reading it right; though the term seems inconceivable I am talking about the education revolution started by two Khans in USA. Salman Khan- The founder of Khan Academy and Sohail khan- The founder of My Education Key.
A small innovative approach started by these two Khans has potential of launching a new revolution in the field of education. Educate at your own pace and at you own time free of cost. Unlike school and colleges where a fixed amount of knowledge is tossed at you irrespective your ability to digest it, their systems allows you to learn at your own pace at your own convenience and in a manner that is much easier to follow.

What started as simple effort to help the cousin staying in a different city has grown into a revolutionary idea. Khan has nearly 2600 free educational videos on his www.khanacademy on math, biology, chemistry, physics, arts, history and finance.
He has videos on mathematics starting from 1+1 equates to 2, to the level of calculus and more. His theory is start from the ground and reach to the level you desire at your own pace at your own time anywhere in the world free of cost. Almost a million students are using his videos every month. His philosophy is to provide Free World Class education to anyone, anywhere and they can learn at their own convenience.
In his view traditional way of education where 85% is excellent, is not good enough this means you did not know 15% and this gap keeps expanding as you move forward. He wants 100% mastery for you on the subject you want to learn.

Sohail khan has started My Education Key on the same line. He has got almost 15000 educational videos on his web portal www.myeducation.com. He is covering from K to 12 to college and university. All his videos are FREE and many of the lectures are contributed by MIT, Stanford and other renowned professionals and educationist.
